Meet the instructor behind Davidson Web Studio
One teacher for the whole course: the calls, the quotes, the code and the care afterward.
Who
Mooresville Marketing is the parent company. Same phone, same email, same person.
Davidson Web Studio is a Mooresville Marketing company. Its owner, Roger Johnson, works out of the Mooresville Marketing office in Mooresville, NC (Iredell County). Think of it as a one-room schoolhouse rather than a campus: there's no front desk passing your project down a hallway. Whoever answers your first email is also the one typing your site into existence.
Roger
Roger handles every part of a project personally. He studies your current pages and your Google listing before the consult, prices the job in a written quote, and hand-codes each page. Long after launch, a change you text over lands on his desk, not on an assistant's.
Classroom rules
- A written price comes first. Nothing starts until you've seen it.
- Every page is coded by hand. No store-bought theme, no drag-and-drop builder.
- Honest grading. If your current site only needs a tune-up, that's the advice you'll get.
- You hold the keys. Your domain, analytics and Google listing stay in your name, and Roger coaches you on the listing instead of asking to be made a manager on it.
- No bought or made-up reviews, and no promise of a #1 spot.
Where
Seven miles. On a clear day it's a short drive down 115.
Why a Mooresville shop for Davidson
Mostly geography. NC 115 leaves Mooresville heading south and turns into Davidson's Main Street roughly seven miles later.1 There's no rented downtown mailbox pretending to be a branch office. Day to day, projects move along over the phone, by email and on a shared screen; if a face-to-face meeting would genuinely speed things up, Roger makes the short trip down 115.
The towns overlap in other ways too. Davidson's west side runs along the Lake Norman shore, and a slice of the town sits north of the county line in Iredell, which is where our office is.1
What we are not
No tie to Davidson College, and nothing to do with Davidson County, whose county seat is Lexington.2 This is a two-word job description: web shop, serving the Town of Davidson.
