Website pricing & free quotes in Davidson

How a quote is put together, what moves it up or down, and when you pay.

Quotes

Every quote is fixed and in writing. Nothing starts until you've signed off on it.

There's no price list on this site, and that's deliberate. Every Davidson business gets its own quote: one fixed figure, written down and agreed before any work begins. It won't creep upward while the build is underway.

What decides the cost

  • Page count. A tidy five-page site and a site with a page for every service are different sizes of job.
  • Features. Booking tools, menus that change weekly, galleries, multiple locations or a quote calculator each add planning and code.
  • Content. If your photos and notes are ready, drafting goes faster. If Roger needs to write from scratch or source images, that's part of the scope.
  • Deadline. A launch timed to a grand opening or a season is fine; a very short runway can move the number.

Three build sizes, plus monthly care

Most projects land in one of three sizes. The quote tells you which one yours is and exactly what it includes.

Build sizes, care plans and search work
SizeWhat it covers
Unit A · Website builds, one fixed quote each
StarterUp to 5 pages. For an established business that mostly needs to look credible on a phone and be easy to call or email.
Growth8 to 12 pages. Every main service gets a page of its own, so each one has its own chance to be found in a search.
Custom12 pages and up. Long service menus, more than one location, or features that need extra planning and code.
Unit B · Hosting & site care, billed monthly
Care, paired with StarterHosting, certificate, uptime watch and small edits for a compact site
Care, paired with GrowthThe same care for a larger site with more pages to look after
Care, paired with CustomThe same care, scaled to a bigger build
Unit C · Search work
Local SEOMonthly work on your site and listing, scoped to your trade and competition, priced after a free review

Terms

Care plans cover hosting and small edits. Details in CARE 120.

Payment terms

  • Half at the start. That holds your spot in the build calendar.
  • Half on delivery. Due when the finished site is handed over for your review.
  • Site care monthly, beginning once the site goes live.

Picking a size

Starter fits a business people already know by name, such as a studio off the Green or a practice built on referrals; it needs to look right and make contact easy. Growth suits businesses with several distinct services that each deserve to be found, like a contractor doing repairs, installs and maintenance. Custom is for long service menus, more than one location, or features that take real planning.

Unsure which one you are? Describe your business during a free consult and Roger will quote the smallest build that does the job. Finished projects show what you'd be paying for, and the web design course page lists what every build includes.

FAQ

Office hours: quotes

Questions owners ask before they sign up.

Why is there no price list on this site?

Because a five-page site for a Main Street shop and a twelve-page site for a contractor with an online booking tool are different jobs. A printed number would be too high for one and too low for the other. A written quote for your job is more useful than either.

Can the quote change halfway through?

Not for the work it describes. If you decide partway in that you want another page or a new feature, Roger prices that addition separately and waits for your yes before touching it.

How long does a quote take?

Usually a day or two after the consult. It arrives by email as a short document you can print, forward to a partner or file with your records.

Is SEO part of the build quote?

No. The build includes search groundwork at launch. Ongoing monthly SEO is scoped on its own after a free review of your trade and competitors.
